
To enter your birds in our 2025 annual show you can use our online form or download a copy of the show schedule below. Entries are $2 for singles, $3 for pairs and must be submitted by 5pm, 18th August.
SHOW BYLAWS AND REGULATIONS
- Entries close 5pm Monday the 18th August 2025
- Entry fees are as follows – singles $2 Pairs $3 Fees must accompany entry forms, banking details are on entry form. Once sufficient entries have been received to fill pens, NO further entries will be accepted.
- Any birds can be penned the day before the show from 4pm till 7pm. Please provide your bird food and water for the night and remove the day of show.
- The poultry pavilion will be open for exhibitors from 7am Saturday 23rd August 2025.
- Birds must be penned by 8.30AM SHARP. No birds will be accepted past this time. All carrying boxes are to be removed from pavilion. All exhibits shall be under the care of the chief steward for the show duration. No bird may be removed from their allocated pen either by owner or by any other person with out the permission of the chief steward, except for the purpose of judging.
- Penning slips (your entry form slip) are located on the table in pavilion to show what pen your birds are allocated.
- Judging will commence at 9am sharp
- Prize money will be awarded to: Best of breed: $10 Champion classes: 1st $50 Reserve champion of sections $20 (If a class is deemed insufficient a prize to the value of $ will be awarded instead) If insufficient entries are received in large or bantam sections these will be combined for champion and reserve champion overall. If Judges deem an entry unworthy of judging it will not receive a prize even if it is the only bird in its class.
- Eggs laid by any exhibit during the show shall be deemed to be property of the club. All eggs are to be cracked by officials unless arrangements are made by the owner prior to the judging – unauthorized removal is prohibited.
- Prize cards will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd, champion of sections. All birds will be judged according to the Australian poultry standard and placing of awards will be given at the judges discretion and shall be final
- The president reserves the right to appoint additional judges if deemed necessary
- AOC (any other colour), AC (Any Colour) or AOV (any other Variety), please state breed or colour as extra classes may be created if the number of entries are sufficient.
- No notice, comment or advertisement other then those authorised by the club shall appear on the show pen or anywhere in the pavilion until after the judging has finished birds put up for sale must be done through the chief steward and if not sold to remain in the pavilion until the specified time
- Birds to remain penned until completion of trophy presentation and shall not be removed earlier except with permission by club officials. Birds not removed with in 1 hour of closing time shall cease to be the responsibility of the chief steward.
